I want to take this opportunity to thank Almighty God for this day and for bringing this vision to life. Special thanks to Jeremy Damaris, a true blessing to the community, who has dedicated himself to uplifting others. Jeremy’s life is a testament to God’s transformative power and a firm reminder that anyone can experience a life-changing transformation.

Today marks the beginning of something great. My prayer is that you won’t see this as just another soccer league but as the start of a journey towards greatness for each and every one of you. This day isn’t just about sports—it’s about building Men of Value.

The Power of Change

Change is powerful, and it adds up over time. As we come together today, we will be talking about the small, impactful steps you can take on your journey to becoming a Man of Value.

Every small change you make matters. Waking up 30 minutes earlier for prayer, reading something positive to uplift your spirit, and filling your mind with faith—these little actions have a profound effect. Never underestimate the power of small positive changes, because each one brings you closer to your breakthrough.

But remember, what is easy to do is also easy not to do. Those who change their lives are those who bother. They bother to replace limiting habits with new, empowering ones.

As the Bible says in Zechariah 4:10: “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”

Practical Tips to Becoming a Man of Value

Here are three simple, powerful practices you can start today to transform your life:

1. Schedule Time for Personal Devotion

When we pray, God works. When we work, we work. Personal devotion is the foundation of spiritual growth. When I first got born again, I realized the tremendous value of spending time with God, and it completely transformed my life.

Take time each day to pray and listen to God. Write down what you feel He’s speaking to you about. I remember in 2003, I was trusting God for a career change, and in my time of devotion, He led me to a scripture in 2 Samuel 7:8 that gave me direction. Spend time with God, and He will guide you.

2. Read Something Positive Every Day

Even two minutes of positive reading can change your mood, uplift your spirit, and shift your mindset. Little by little, it adds up. The more you learn, the more you earn. What you feed your mind transforms your outlook and, ultimately, your life.

Your input changes your output. If you intentionally invest in personal growth, you’ll find your life growing in ways you never expected. A perfect example of this comes from the story of Ark Medina. At his lowest point, ready to give up, he walked into a library, where a book by W. Clement StoneSuccess Through a Positive Mental Attitude—caught his eye. That book transformed his life. He went from being on the verge of ending it all to becoming a pioneer of personal development, selling over 50 million books worldwide.

Never underestimate the power of reading something positive every day!

3. Look at Your Dreams, Vision, and Goals Every Day

Keeping your goals in sight is crucial to achieving them. In 1979, a Harvard study revealed that only 3% of graduates had clearly written goals. Fast forward 20 years, and that same 3% was earning 10 times more than the other 97% combined! The simple act of writing down your goals and reviewing them regularly keeps you focused and driven.

Out of sight, out of mind. You become what you behold. When I first knew it was time to build the Oint Country Homes, I didn’t just sit back and wait—I actively visualized the completed homes, prayed, and took action. Today, Oint Country Homes is well underway, and the progress is simply incredible.

Your Success is Hidden in Your Daily Routine

The journey to becoming a Man of Value isn’t about making massive changes overnight. It’s about consistently making small, positive changes every day. Your success is hidden in your daily routine. Whether it’s setting time aside for prayer, reading something that uplifts you, or regularly reviewing your goals, each step you take matters.

Start today. Commit to the small changes that will transform your life. God is faithful, and as you continue on this journey, He will guide you towards greatness.

Conclusion: The Journey Begins Now

Today is the beginning of something far bigger than just a soccer league. It’s the start of a journey to become a Man of Value. As you reflect on the principles shared, take the time to apply them to your life. The changes may seem small at first, but, like drops of water filling a cup, they will accumulate into something significant over time.

Remember: greatness is within you. Embrace the journey!
